Unfortunately they won't support KDE 4.X with their Hardy Heron 8.04 release out of the box. that saddens me. :( Go see if you can blog about it and create some pressure with the Kubuntu folks to include KDE 4.X with their next release in 2 months. Yeah, there are a few versions sorta oriented from Ubuntu, aren’t there. How come you have picked Kubuntu? Would be interesting to hear. Well.. the easiest MP3 support for Amarok may be nice and save some time but it isn’t impossible to enable it on Ubuntu and I like more that I don’t need to install the KDE desktop as in Ubuntu since I prefer that one and there are more features that make me like Kubuntu more than it’s parent. -curves79lady Hi Scott.

I'm a little surprised to read that you find Kubuntu improved over Ubuntu, since most of us consider it the red-headed stepchild of the Ubuntu project. :-) It's all worth it for Amarok though, isn't it?
