How great is Thunderbird? I reluctantly decided to give it try yesterday because my thoughts was that it (the mail client) would be difficult and not meet the demands I had/have. Just a few minutes after having started the program I had both my Gmail account and all of my Hotmail/Live accounts going through it. I could never manage without this program again.

There’s a great plug-in for Thunderbird called Lightning which provides calendars in Thunderbird. There’s also a connector which is a separate install which enables you to subscribe to your google calendars and sync them both
