This film was not bad. But then again, not everyone share my humor. Funny guy, that beast. I thought he look like Tito Ortiz, only bigger and ugly.

Watched a couple of films this holiday :-).

Somebody Help Me (2007) and I Am Legend (2007).

Somebody Help Me is about 2 couples plan to spend a weekend in a cabin with friends to celebrate a birthday but instead they find them selves to become the next victims of a serial killer.

True, the last man on earth is not alone. Is all I want to say , don’t want to spoil it for anyone! I liked it. Mucho.

The Flock (2007)

I liked this film.

THE FLOCK is the story of hyper-vigilant federal agent (Gere) who, while training his young female replacement (Danes), must track down a missing girl whom he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he’s investigating. Working against the clock they unravel the twisted details to track the potential killer.

Ghosts Of Cite Soleil (2006)

This documentary made a powerful impression on me as it follows the war of the Chiefs in Haiti.

 

An epic portrait of a family and a culture torn apart by poverty and violence, GHOSTS OF CITÉ SOLEIL is a powerful and unsettling documentary that takes us inside the lives of the notorious gang leaders who dominate the Haitian slum of Cite Soleil, one of the most desperate communities in the Western hemisphere. The Slaughter (2006)

I cannot recommend this movie.

Nude Satanic knife-stabbing ritual performing girls and zombie stabbing. Some kids envoke an ancient curse and are murdered one by one.

The Deaths Of Ian Stone (2006)

I watched this few days ago and I forgot to post it. This movie is alright, they have a kind of nice concept going on there. It is a bit interesting.

Note the plural in the film title. It is a horror flick – Follow the life of Ian Stone as he realizes who he really is.

Blood Monkey (2006)

This film was unbelievably bad but it scared the shit out of me like the worst horror flick don’t.

The film is about an insane man’s dream.

Let’s Go To Prison (2006)

I don’t watch many comedies *Horror chick* but the film poster was funny so I wanted to try it out and I did and it gave me a few laughs.

El Cantante

I watched El Cantante (The Singer) the other day, that movie with Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony. I pretty much loved it. I can’t say that I’m a fan of JLo’s music (not that I dislike it, it’s alright) and I haven’t watched many movies that she star in but I very much like Bordertown (2006) and Selena (1997). Three favorites movies from JLo – not bad. I think that both Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony did a good job.

Based on the life of singer Hector Lavoe who brought Salsa to the United States the year of 1975. He was one of the greatest Salsa singers in the world but a personal tradegy and a serious heroin addiction left him poor and dying in AIDS.

30 Days Of Night (2007)

A movie starring Josh Hartnet that is based on a three-issue miniseries of horror comics. The plot is a town in Alaska and it’s annual “30 days of night”, a period during the winter when the sun will not be seen.

I love horror movies and if you do too maybe you’ll like it too. Sexy vampires! (note joke)
