“Odd” justice in todays newspaper

A top jurist / judge in a civilized country wants to make it legal that a person can be married to more than one person. Though the statement that there should be a difference between law and moral sounds like an obvious and called for request, the change of law that he is fighting for sort of scares me. He also wants to give a stronger juristic protection to odd living arrangements in general. He claims that the law should not meddle with religious or private moral affairs. Personally I believe that bending the “rules” of society too much is going to end up in catastrophically proportions in ways that is hard to imagine before they exist. God, I don’t believe much good will come from this. Being a resident in this country I “suddenly” feel the urge to flee it.

The teddy bear Muhammed

I try to read the newspaper every day. I like to keep myself updated about what is happening outside my own life, around the world. Because I find it interesting and also it makes me feel less shut inside my own life/world. Another type of claustrophobia ;-) .

From time to time there is something related to the Muslim religion that is totally outrageous/shocking. Read the day before yesterday about the British teacher in Saudi who let her students call a teddy bear for Muhammed and for that got sentenced to 10 days in prison and deportation.

I do not want to speak badly about anyone and neither anyone’s God/belief even when I do not share them but when some things related are taken too seriously or become insane it just do not seem right any more.

Some things are just difficult to understand.
